I'm just seeing how it works. Seems to be good at location and taking a photo of a certain native tree of Britain. Good to have that I suppose. Also would be great if there were ways to volunteer for tree planting if that would benefit the longevity of a certain species of trees we need? Good description of trees and images. Very well thought out and I can only say, thank you! Helps a great deal at spotting trees etc.

Perfect. Gives clear identification and detailed descriptions for all principal UK tree species, in a well laid out A-Z, or easy to use feature recognition format.

Great app from a great charity. Simple to use with children. Well done WT.

great app, although a satellite view would be a good benefit when identifying tree locations

Not working

I don't understand why the app required access to camera and photos on the device, when its just a collection of poor photos without any input

Seems to work well

A good beginners guide.Very lightweight with many tree species missing. As other users have noted it could do with an automatic identifier when you take a picture of a tree.

The descriptions are detailed, without jargon, and photos are good. However, I wanted to use the app to map my local trees, which doesn't work. For starters, the location defaults to Grantham, Lincolnshire (perhaps the programmer's home?). If you then press the Find Location button it finds your location within about half a mile. Saving the tree location is similarly inaccurate. The iPhone version doesn't seem to have this problem!
